ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT FOUNDER BOB MAICKEL
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that PSGA founder Bob Maickel passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 87 years old. Bob founded the club in 1973 out of his garage, and was consistent with his passion for the instrument throughout his lifetime. At Bob's wishes, we will continue on with the association.
2024 PSGA SHOW
While no show is planned for 2023, we'll be gathering on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Piedmont Club in Darien, CT for a full show, featuring Regional, Nashville, and Texas stars of the steel guitar.
Additionally, we will have a tribute to Bob along with a look back on historical performances through never before seen video.
