Southern Steel Guitar Convention - May 17th and 18th at the Saluda Shrine Club, Saluda, South Carolina. Chuck Lettes will conduct an E9th Seminar from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 17th. If you are going to attend the seminar please notify Chuck in advance so there will be enough CDs and lesson material for all participants. There will be an informal jam session that evening. On Sunday, May 18th the Southern Steel Guitar Convention will present steel guitars in concert with Chuck Lettes, Herby Wallace and many of the fine regional players. 5th Annual Canadian Steel Guitar Show - Sunday, June 22nd at the Leslieville Community Centre, Leslieville, Alberta, Canada from 2 until 10 pm. Terry Crisp, Doug Jernigan, Doug Aman, Rob Anderson and Jeff Bradshaw are just some of the performers that will be playing at the all day event. The Aloha Steel Guitar Club 21st Annual Hawaiian Steel Guitar Convention - July 17th, 18th, and 19th, at the Willard School Auditorium. in Winchester, Indiana. Featured guest performers direct from Hawaii, are Eddie Palama from Honolulu and Paul Kim. Admission for the three day event is $11.00 per day. There will be a Hawaiian Luau on Saturday night featuring Hawaiian fare and music for $22.00. The Randolf Inn and Suites will provide lodging and a continental breakfast for $71.00 + tax each night.. The Annual Rocky Mountain Steel Guitar Show - Sunday, July 20th, at the Ramada Plaza, 10 East 120th Ave., 120th and I-25. For reservations call 1-303-452-4100. The Indy Steel Guitar Club Annual Concert - August 3rd starting a 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post, 334 U.S. 31 South, in Greenwood, Indiana.  Lots of good steel guitar music by a variety of players, including: Dewitt Scott from St. Louis, and Bobbe Seymour and Mike Johnson from Nashville.  Admission:  $12 for non-members and $10.00 for members.
